I purchased e-tickets from the Garuda website for my parents & auntie and they never received e-tickets, get a booking code (Garuda Sydney was able to do this for me) and then you can access the garuda website and check your flight details which you can print off or email e-booking@garuda-indonesia.com, the email just provided the same screen shot as the Garuda website. P.s they didn't have individual e-tickets just the 3 all on the one piece of paper.
The funny thing was the following week I booked tickets for my family of 4, the kids e-tickets arrived in my email within 5 minutes, my husbands in around 25 minutes and mine the following day!!!!
Hope I haven't confused you, Mum, Dad & Auntie have just returned from their trip and had no probs with all 3 of them being on the 1 ticket.
