Horrible looking place. We got an invite to go to a big party there when staying at Shangrila - owners birthday and some charity fundraiser as well. We got the courtesy bus there and were met by unfriendly reception staff who seemed unwilling to give us directions on where the party was. Wandered through a concrete jungle maze of a place and found it all set up by the pool. Nobody there to greet guests or tell us what was happening, where to pay etc. We had a look over the wall to the ocean and it was filthy with garbage washing up against the concrete wall - not just a few pieces but just masses of it.
We turned around and walked back out and got transport up the road to Watergarden restaurant for dinner instead. Fantastic, by the way.
We were definitely glad we'd picked Shangrila over Bali Palms when booking the vouchers.
