Bamboo Shoots Cooking - Kids

Has anyone taken kids to Bamboo Shoots cooking class?

Wondering if it would be wise to take our 4 kids with us (ages 9, 9, 12 & 13) or if will just mean we are helping them and not learning much ourselves?

Is it suitable for kids this age?
