Generally this is seen as harmless fun, but there is a dark side to it as well.
When things go sour with these "fleeting moments", and they probably will, people do get hurt one way or another.
This can come in the form of emotional or financial damage, and health issues can be a factor to.
Really unlucky ones will get the hat trick.
This applies to both genders of course.
Anyway, that's the way it is in countries where there is a significant financial divide between locals and visitors.
This is going to change no time soon.
