Just got back from three weeks in Bali, before I get onto the heading subject just thought I would mention some of the many bars I had meals at while I was staying at the new Camplung Mas off Melasti st,
went to Sheppys about four times very disapointed with the food there,
tried Jonis about three times food pretty good but more expensive than most of the others, tried Swish in Garlic lane not bad but the beer was always hot,the Garlic Lane bar had nice cold beer and the food was very good as was Ours, didnt like the Beach Shacks floor show probably alright if your a bit bent. Legends always great floor show and good food, Moo Moos so so, but the very best I went to was
Blue Skyes in jalan legian(just around the corner from melasti st)
there food was excellent the place was well set up spotless and the service and price were very good, now to get onto the subject heading
which I dont think will be making me to many friends but needs to be said, went to other places as well, didnt eat at many of them so didnt include in my food report, noticed mainly at Billys bar a lot of Desperate older women (about 45/65 years old) picking up younger local men/boys and taking them back to there hotels(actually heard of one who took a young one home, lent him her new laptop, which he stole and hocked)there were quite a few of these boilers making fools of themselves around that area, and now the Pathetics young aussie girls(some a bit over weight and not model looks) doing the same thing with the young Bali boys, hope none of there family or friends could see what they were up to, very embarasing to see,most of them with a little effort will still get an aussie guy if they put the time in.
