Agree that the funds from this week have not been paid out but the Agents have to pay to the Airline at the demand of the Admistator thus you go from being a Debtor to joining the long list of Creditors.
As for them not having Isurance that is not correct as per the Trade Advice from all the Insurance giants who have to cover the lost monies for fares. So there was in fact nothing to disclose and again if there were imminent danger that was made public rather than inuendo and gossip which goes on about many service providers then of course the tickets would not have been sold.
If there were any way to avoid paying out there would be a huge sigh of relief from all of the Travel Agnecies but not the case.
It's foul that that money cannot be witheld but as the law is an ass that is the position. Would seem such common sense to just pay back what was taken in the last 7 days and mimimise the losses..
The Admistrators will come after it and get it - nothing surer.
Horrible siutation..
The story of the previuos partners departure is reported in so many different ways and to my knowlege was well over a year ago.. Can't comment on that any more than to say the airline moved on to what seemed bigger and better things for quite a while after that - at least that's how it presented.
I'm not happy either and I can guarantee there will be more lost by myself than most other individuals caught up in this mess.
Would be nice if the Insurers were more visible though in terms of paying out rather than flying under the radar and letting innocents take the finacial burden.
As a business owner I'm cerain you'd be wanting the finances to be handled in the most appropriate manner.
Hope it works out for you as clearly you have been burnt as well.
Good luck
