L or P licence does NOT apply. You neede a full licence to get an international licence.
To get an Indonesian motor bike licence (seperate licence required for car) you need to go to Poltabes (police station) in Denpasar). You have a short medical (color blindness check & blood pressure). They do a security check on you. You have to sit a written driving test (in Indonesian), Have photocopies of your passport & visa.
Allow about half a day. Also from Kuta to Poltabes by motor bike takes around 40 mins each way. The licence is good for 1 month only.
