I love Sanur and there is a lot to do and see. I agree Tootsies, both the fixed price store that Ketut has and her bar and restaurant on the beach. ( northern end of Sanur). Walk along the beach walk, plenty of nice restaurants or places to stop for a drink. Bonsai Cafe is good and if you go behind the cafe and Into the gardens you can see the amazing Bonsai that they grow there.
Hardys store, 3 stories of shopping under one roof. Just be careful here, as it's mostly fixed price, but not all of it. Upstairs the guys that sell sunglasses and perfume can be quite aggressive, so I just avoid them when I do there.
You can sit and have your feet nibbled by the fish as well!
It's not as busy as Kuta or seminyak etc, and can by quite nice just sitting in a restaurant just watching the world go by. You can see some great things but without the hustle and bustle. If you like Balinese Pizza there is a great restaurant next to Griya Santrian street entrance that is lovely.
The orchid gardens is just North of Sanur. IDR 100,000 to get in. I love orchids so it was nice, but I was a bit dissappointed in it.
A driver for the day would be good, then you can take any parcels back to him and if you want to go a bit further down the street and it gets hot then you don't have to walk.
Hope this helps a bit. There are markets there, Sindhu beach markets etc but I find Tootsies fixed price had far better prices then I ever got from the markets. They don't get very busy there so they seem to try and keep their prices high. Well, they start high. Making it hard work to get them down. ( IMO not worth the effort).
If you need a rest have a drink at one of the beach restaurants means your daughter can play in the sand or watch the water etc,
Have fun
