I must admit, I was disappointed with a lot of restaurants this trip. In Ubud and the South.
The meals have been mediocre and tasteless and my attempts to impress my son with great food in Bali failed apart from the more upmarket places. I am wondering if meats are being purchased frozen and microwaved, even the usually good mexican dishes at Seaside were cold in the middle suggesting nuking. The Blue Ocean that I usually recommend was very bland.
