We always invite the driver to eat lunch with us. If he declines, we tell the restaurant staff that we will pay for his lunch. They often prefer to eat outside with friends. One year the driver we had from Sanur brought his daughter and he ordered such a fine lunch for her and himself that it cost more than our lunch did! I suspect he had a decent doggy bag to take home to the rest of the family. We felt that was out of order, so never used him again. He still hasn't figured out why, and still approaches us to hire him.
