The cook and myself took off for Xmas . Just 4 days to get away . After returning she has felt lethargic and a few days ago started getting a rash all over her legs . Went the the Quakks and the first question he asks is " have you been over seas " ... Dengue fever ... Headache behind the eyes and no energy ... aparently there are 3 strains . Hers not too bad , although today she is a little worse ... After 8 trips in 24 months someone was bound to get it ...
You'll be slammed for asking fo medical advice on here : ) I guess the only way to know for sure would be to go see your local GP (obviously you know this tho! : ) ). Please let us know how you got on though and if they think it is anything serious. Which area did you stay in?
I'd be interested to hear tho because if it is another confirmed case of dengue I will be reconsidering going again in 14days with my 2 boys. I know it's been around for a while but maybe not worth the risk if it's becoming more common.
