May I also suggest you and your wife visit the birthing centre (Bumisehat)
in Ubud at the end of Monkey Forest Road and see Ibu Robyn in action.
This wonderful woman is worth her weight in gold and the winner of CNN's 2011 Hero of the Year Award.
I was lucky enough to meet her last September between births and she was pleasant and humble and seemed so dedicated to her cause.
If you do a search on the archives I'm sure you'll find lots on her
and the centre.
