Oooh, something bad's happened, must be the Javanese, would never be the balinese - they are lovely people who would never harm a fly. pmsl.
I know many balinese, many javanese, many jakartans, many australians, a few south americans, a couple of africans and a heap load of europeans. I know good and bad in all of those groups.
What i will ask though - is why have you gone on holiday with only one pair of flip flops which also happen to be paint splattered and a bit rusty? If i were only going to take one pair of flip flops (which i wouldnt because they get filthy) - i would take a fresh clean pair. :-)
