What abattoir works at night time ?
From Web site :Lynn White from Animals Australia filmed inside the 11 abattoirs, including at night, with the help of Indonesian workers at the slaughterhouses to catch on tape proof of the brutality.The video continues after to show how some cows are humanly killed by being 'stunned' in the slaughterhouses. After that process they are sent to slaughter; but the majority of the cattle do that receive that treatment.
The main issue for AUSTRALIA was they were not being STUNNED and how the treatment of them. There are 16 slaughter houses in Australia that do not stun before killing their animals.
I am all for the industry being cleaned up but lets start at home and lets not put people out of work and off the land that they have worked for years over something that is not their fault. Lets have 1 rule for all. Something that we don't have here in Australia.
