The Animals Astralia activists did NOT pay them to torture the animals, they paid them to be filmed.
The lack of the stunning was not the main issue,IMHO, it was the torture that really disgusted the average viewer.

Don't get me wrong, I'm from the bush. I grew up killing and eating our own stock.It's the sheer bloody torture that was exposed that sickens me.
It's totally possible to be a livestock farmer and NOT support this terrible trade.
