's and have never felt unsafe,but we do have a villa with security....we are out and about ever day and night,,,i believe it is safer in Seminyak area than where i live on the Gold Coast Australia.....Will be back in Bali 3weeks for another month,cant wait... .go with you gut feeling......Cheers
