Considering what a good driver can do for you and that we pay these guys for what can be a 12 hour day, we usually give our driver (Charlie) a fair tip 2/300k on top of his fee of around 500k....he chooses to sleep and rest when are playing tourist or to chat with other drivers but is sure to get his spin offs which is ok by us. Seeing that we were paying 1.2 mill for 5 of us to eat like kings, a tip of 2/300k was the least we could do. At the end of our holiday, we were happy to pay for 6 months of school for his daughter. A good driver (and there are heaps) will become your friend and you will be happy to do these things.
