This is a bit of a nightmare around this time of year especially as sky rockets etc can land anywhere and if a roof catches fire it is usually several villas etc. that get burnt out (especially with the jammed roads & inadequate fire services) The Governor of Bali has recently passed a law outlawing the selling of fireworks and most beaches etc. do have a ban but unfortunately does not seem to make a difference. All we can do is hope for big rains.
