New Years Eve arriving but beach rd shut

we arrive New Years Eve at around 5pm but apparently the beach road will be shut at 4pm and we are staying in Poppies 1.

Can anyone fill me in on how we can get to our accommodation with luggage (heavy with care packs for people)
