Where is the best place to get a simpati sim card set up. In July my daughter and I both went to the phone card counters that are upstairs at Hardy's in Sanur. After several long visits they only ever managed to get the Internet working via wifi. We are hoping to be able to find somewhere in or close to Sanur that will be able to set them up properly when we arrive in January so that we actually have mobile access without the need for wifi facilities.
Are we able to go to the Telkomsel office we pass on the way from the airport to Sanur or is there another place who actually know what they are doing to get it up and functioning properly?
It became very frustrating and time consuming on our last trip and we never ended up with the set up we expected. We actually also paid an additional Rp100 000 for Internet and felt we didn't get what we paid for. We expected to be able to just have access to Internet anywhere without the need for wifi.
We both have iPhones. I have the 4S and she has the 4.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
