We have been to Bali 28 times, so I stood my ground after the immigration guy told me that "his friend could help me" because I didn't have the stamp.
I showed him my passport showing my arrival date stamp & told him it was their fault not mine.
It would probably intimidate an inexperienced traveller, but not this little black duck!!!!
