Like many I am sure, my dream is to "own" a house in Bali where I could stay during my visits/holidays and hopefully something more permanently down the track. I am thinking of buying a property (Hak Milik) through an Indonesian nominee ... not someone I just met(ha ha) but my partner - we've known each other 13 years. I would love to hear from anyone who has done this or bought a villa/house and what experiences they have had - good and bad. Also, what is the situation re finance - would we need to be married to apply? I would really appreciate any advice :)
