Surf and Sanur

Hi All

Heading to Bali 16/12....last minute needed break. We know the east side of Bali is better for surf this time of the year, so would like some advice on the best surf spots and places to stay nearby (my partner is and experienced surfer, but son is a learning bodyboarder, so thinking Sanur somewhere) .
