I keep hearing people saying "what were his parents thinking taking him to Bali if he had a pre existing drug problem?"
Well i guess we will find out soon.
I can't fault the parents for selling the story and trying to recoup some of their financial losses, which would be substantial.
As for the money the Australian govt has spent, well Helloooo, that's their job - to look out for and help Australian nationals in trouble overseas.
I truly hope this family can put this ordeal behind them and move on, taking heed of the lessons to be learnt.
