Child Welfare meet him on arrival back into Australia & deal with him because to have a drug habit at this age something is terrbly wrong within his home/family environment.This is my opinion only. I am a mother & grandmother & as much as I would not like to see it ever happen that one of mine be caught doing the wrong thing (breaking the law) of any foreign country I believe they would have to accept the penalty handed to them, I would always love & support them however I believe that if you do the crime you should do the time.
He is not a child he is a teenager & teenagers are all too often full of themselves & no alls, I also have no time for people who choose to do the wrong thing & then go out bragging & boasting about it. He should be counting his lucky stars that he only has one week to go!!
And as for his parents I feel no sorrow for them even if it has cost them heaps, if they lost their house because of their sons stupidity then so be it! They all need to dust themselves off & start again, hopefully no TV channels sign them up for their story & they have to work for what they want moving forward.
