Your thoughts on linen

I often read reviews that say, approvingly, 'the sheets were changed every day'.

I understand that clean sheets feels nice, but given Bali's shortage of power and water, it seems like a silly practice,

Am I just a sanctimonious wowser, or should this practice be reconsidered by the hotels who do it?
