After many days of setting up and fustrations there is now a new system available in Indonesia through Telkomsel carlled "Perdana Flash Unlimited", the card costs Rp 60,000 giving you an unlimited data via USB modem or a wireless router.unlike telephone data settings it is setup slightly differently and lasts you 30 Days with united downloads to check forums, emails etc. the settings are listed below:
USB or WIRELESS ROUTER.
Register card SMS:
UL ON 50000
send to 3636
go to profile, new:
name it: Telkomsel
Access point name:
telkomsel or internet
User name: Blank (empty)
Password: Blank (empty)
save and connect your on the way, Please note these cards are data only and cannot be used to talk.
Telkomsel Flash associated to phones to receive data:
SMS flash to 3636
go to phone settings and access points use the following settings:
dial out no. *99#
profile name: telkomsel
access piont: wap
user name: wap
password: wap123
save sttings restart phone and test.
this enables you to receive emails on you phone and still make calls but is costly as in Rp1000/min for data use.
