It is frustrating when you are behind someone who has not done their paperwork in advance. Happened to us once when we landed after a Russian charter. I suppose if you don't travel overseas all that often you wouldn't necessarily realise the best thing to do is to fill out the documentation during the flight.
What price are you paying for the villas and how did you do your booking (agent or direct)?
Also are you able to walk to the beach by cutting through anywhere other than say walking to the Jalan Arjuna?
