Threatening allergy to all seafood/fish including sauces and often wondered how BIMC would handle it. It's comforting to know they treated you well, I also use covermore insurance and had to pay extra because of the allergy. It might be worthwhile going to see an allergist when you have time and have tests done, it's unusual to develop an allergy in adult years but seafood is one exception. I ate it nearly everyday until I was 16 (folks had a fish 'n chip shop) and yet I still developed the allergy. I always carry an epi-pen, telfast 180 and phenergan 25mg just in case I react to something. I did have a few minor reactions last week when I was there which were cured with telfast and thankfully no need to go to hospital. Hope you get to the bottom of this reaction for your own peace of mind. Cheers and thanks for the post :-)
