to visit Australia in my opinion, unless you were planning on going to Darwin or TNQ (tropical North Qld). Darwin / NT is on my bucket list of places to visit in Oz so we're hoping to do a combined Darwin/Bali trip some time soon. So much to see up there & I'm told it's the best time of year to visit.
If it was me, I think I'd like to visit somewhere outside of Asia en route, just for a bit of variety. Having said that, Vietnam is also on my bucket list so if I had the chance I'd head there too!
