Need some ideas

We are heading back to Bali in July next year (11th trip) and this time we have 3 weeks - yay! We already have 2 weeks accommodation booked in Legian but are looking for ideas of what to do for the first week (depart NZ 30th June - need to be in Legian by 6th July).

We will be departing from NZ so were thinking we could either do a stopover en-route (we have already done Singapore, west coast of Malaysia & Brunei so ? either Australia, Thailand, Vietnam etc??) or spend the extra week in or near Bali. We have been to most of mainland Bali & previously stayed at Amed, Menjangan, Lovina, Ubud, Nusa Lembongan & Gili T) so maybe somewhere else or even Lombok / Java ??

We'll be travelling with our 13 & 15yr old (their 5th time to Bali)

Any suggestions gratefully accepted :-)
