We do this often with Jet*. Not bad but the trip back is tiring. If you sleep on the first leg home then get some more on the final leg, it is not so bad. Often the children sleep. We have looked at other options but come back to Jet*. But I have heard a whisper about a direct flight??? Won't hold my breath but you never know as they would cut out Darwin landing. Yippee......
