I can see how the situation has come about. Some people take advantage. When I stayed at Holiday Inn last year I saw people bring their own bottle of sprits down to pool bar. Sit them on the bar. Order a coke and pour there spirits in. I was shocked...who does that. Imagine going to a bar an dtaking your on drinks....Staff didnt say anythng but I could see how this type of behavoiur would result in hotels taking extreme measures....
