some time ago, when there was a lot of too and fro on this forum about water born diseases or infections, I mentioned that fish "spas" may be a source of some problems.
The idea was not embraced with enthusiasm by some.
Today I have read an article out of London stating that British experts have stated that clients with some conditions have been "advised against the indulgence".
It goes on to say that "The health Protection Agency yesterday issued new guidance after a panel found fish tank water contained micro-organisms and that infections could be transmitted".
Not sure about how often the tanks or "spas" are cleaned out in some cases in Bali, but I will continue to choose to avoid the temptation of having fish chew at my dead skin cells when I am quite capable of doing it myself.
