I think that an airline that refuses attempt to seat families together as a matter of policy are absolute scumbags. Don't forget the seat selection engine on their website was NOT WORKING. Don't forget that MOST of AirAsia's passengers do not check-in online, and therefore check in at their counters. IF there are plenty of (unbooked) seats available, don't you think that they shouldn't INTENTIONALLY put your family in different rows??
Time was, you could post something on Bali Travel Forum about your experiences at a hotel, restaurant, airline etc without being subject to personal attack. What a shame
