I stay regularly at Kumala Pantai - get my quote in rp and bill at the end of my stay in rp, and pay simply using my credit card. One conversion to au$ and my bank give a decent exchange rate. Works for us! Never had to pay up front, never paid in us$. Confirm with your hotel.
