Our 11th trip but first traveling with 11 month old bub. Stayed at Robins Place with a group of friends, spent a night at Blue Moon in Amed and then had 9 days by ourselves at Rumah Santai Villas, Legian.
We found the temp a lot cooler this time round which was awesome for our little man! Ate at all beach front restaurants along Double six etc ( our villa location) however had many treats along the way! Cocoon for cocktails & breakfast, Dinner at Ultimo, Ku De Ta for cocktails and breakfast, Metis for lunch, Biku for high tea, St Regis for sunday brunch/ lunch, Rock Bar for cocktails, Gado Gado for dinner and Also Pearl for dinner Along with baby! No probs, no moaning, no groaning even with a nappy that got changed in a quiet corner of the garden! :)
Found traveling with an infant easier than I expected, although we were all struck with the flu. I can highly highly recommend the BIMC clinic. On both occasions we were seen within 5 mins by a group of medical staff. We have never been treated and so well informed at any NZ clinic or hospital.

The one thing that really stood out this time for me, since I was pushing a pram everywhere, was the terrible paths. It is sad that Bali seems to be collapsing under all of the infrastructure and heavy tourist numbers. The roads and paths etc can simply not keep up! The government IMO does not seem to be spending a lot of money on these areas which is a real shame.

For those wanting a fab spa, Santai spa is worth the few cents extra!

Looking forward to our next trip already. The only things I missed about home is my Electric toothbrush and drinking our tap water ( how super fortunate are we!)

For those of you yet to arrive in the "Island Of the gods" keep dreaming, as it is and always will be Well worth the wait!

:)
