is Puri Wirata. We spent our 2nd night in Amed there and although the views aren't as spectacular, you don't have the issues with the steep stairs as it is right on the beachfront.
I have to agree re the restaurant food, I had read a couple of bad reviews for it but we enjoyed it a lot. I only ever order Indonesian food in the more remote locations (after being served a fried ham & salad roll once when I'd ordered a "hamburger" LOL).
I loved sitting in that front bale & having breakfast whilst lounging on those comfy cushions & looking out at the blue blue ocean! I don't think I've felt so at peace with the world since :o)
