Hi,
Took our now 3 year old who was 2 at the time to Rarotonga last year - Via NZ he had just turned 2.
We took his car seat in the plane and it worked a treat, he was really settled and slept the majority of the way.Yes it was a hassle but well worth it, on the return journey we checked the seat in for the 3 hour flight and wished we hadnt.. its worth a thought.
As for Bali we too are returning after a 5 years with a 3 year old,
I intend to pack his regular snacks just incase...
I have found the forum to be invaluable this trip checking up on do's and don'ts for travel with kids.
