Relaxing Island after Staying in Legian

My partner & I are staying in Legian for a week to be apart of the hustle & bustle, shopping, nightclubs etc. After that first week we'd like a nice relaxing Island/place to spend quiet quality time together & see the true culture & rest of Bali. Any suggestions?

ps - we're staying at the White Rose in legian.. thoughts on it?
