Some Help as its been a while..

Hi All,
Appreciate your help in advance.
Husband and I have been regular travelers to Bali and Lombok over the years but it has been 4 years since our last visit, we are staying 1 month with a 3 year old, and am feeling a tad nervous about this trip. We did Cook Islands last year and that went well..

We arrive 10pm local time Jetstar out of Sydney.
Should we opt for VIP Visa, Any recomendations on who to use.
Am i correct in assuming most restaurants are Kid Friendly..
Any other activities to try besides waterbomb park, zoo, bird and reptile park and Elephant Safari??
Traveling to Kuta Lombok, dont want to fly with Merpati any Fast boats to Lembar Harbour ?? ( i think thats what its called in Lombok )
Any travelling with toddler to bali tips... We are not vacinating but intend to take red drink - Feedback appreciated :)
