I rang Strategic & they confirmed that the Townsville & Perth flights will cease end October 2011. I then asked her about increasing the flights from Brisbane to 5 per week, she said that she couldn't confirm that at present. Lets keep our fingers crossed.
When Garuda flew from Brissie, the flights were always full as it picked up the kiwis coming from Auckland, plenty of patronage from Brisbane.
