I know most people on here use travel insurance and swear by it but for those who are deliberating as to whether to have it, it really pays to insure even for small claims.
I hurt my foot over there recently and a few days after visiting the first doctor we were contemplating coming home. After a visit from a wonderful doctor I was able to stay for the full 2 weeks.
My claim was only just over AUD $200 but I got my refund only 7 days after they received the claim.
Definitely worthwhile !!
