sorry to bust this myth have been taking travelan for years when going to bali last visit took it religiously and got the worst case bali belly ever had 25 years travelling bali! Apparently from rice(I eat veg)and was told this can sit dormant for days reheated and served in water again from tap!Must admit the length of sickness was lot shorter than I remember 20 years ago when visiting bali ate of street meat of some sort thought I was going to die after 5 days of torture!So maybe its not a prevenative but can help length and severity of bali belly???
