I found a preventative solution over 2 yrs ago.
It is called TRAVELAN available from online chemists,
it is a lactose based pill you take before meals or just after,
and it attracts e-coli virus and passes it out of your system before you get ill. No more Bali Belly since. Also always use a gel based hand wash after handling money and before eating and you will be fine, cost is approx $20-22 for a packet of 30..
