When I looked at the online booking agents EG; Agoda/Hotel Trave ETC it was around about $1350 for 11 nights including the tax they add and jetstar flights with checked baggage each way were around $2700 so around $500.00 cheaper then what you were quoted. Thats based on 3 adults flying as their child ages cut off at 11.
We previously booked through Hotel travel for our honeymoon and had no issues as far as payment and getting the room was concerned but the hotel did do the typical thing and put us in their worst room until we complained then they moved us thenext day but no issues with the website and we have booked direct through the jetstar sight and also virgin for other things and never had an issue I actually find it easier to manage my own flight booking.
We have used an agent for the first time this time cause we are travelling with an infant and unsure of things.
