Thats a shame about your stay at the GBB. I have stayed there many times and I heading back later this year. What section of the hotel did you stay in? My friends and I always stay near the Tirta Pool. We all agree that the rooms could do with a freshen up - especially the bathrooms - but we keep getting drawn back by the grassed pool area and its location. We get good rates and figure we are rarely in the rooms anyway.. we are either out and about travelling around Bali, shopping or sitting by the pool. Anyway thats just my two cents worth!
