Doesnt matter what city you go to anywhere in the world (expect inside artic circle) rodents and cockroaches are a part of life. This doesnt mean that you have to live with them. Especially when you are paying to stay in a place that has staff paid to clean the place.
The level of filth in a place in KTHs price range is happily rare in Bali these days. There are so many wonderful places that manage to get the hygiene correct even if they were built in the 70s or 80s (Pearl Hotel for example). So however you choose to live in your environment is your choice and you dont have to live that way if you choose and it has nothing to do with the conditions at KTH.
I suspect that you have a very close relationship with KTH but like to be seen as the voice of reason in contrast to cary-on-baldies ravings. Care to make full disclosure?
Just beacsue baldies kth cave is his pride and joy doesnt mean the rest of the premises are up to his awesome standard and how would he know anyway.
