I have just watched the abc four corners program. Horrendous cruelty to cattle in indonesia whilst being slaughtered. You will not get good steaks there if the stress these poor creatures endured whilst being slaughtered is an indication of the toughness of the meat. We have an advertisement by a local butcher that says that stressed cattle produce tough meat and to buy his meat because he ensures the cattle are not stressed. Turns you off wanting to buy any meat in indonesia after seeing the poor things suffer and tortured in some cases.
