Unfortunately, there isn't direct flights MEL-DPS for our firm dates. So we are forced to do the via Darwin route. However, I was chuffed with the price given it is a peak travel period, we paid a LOT more 2 years ago for the same dates albeit direct.
I hope there is something to eat at Darwin in the middle of the night :-)
